2. Data we may process
We may process identification data, contact data, account data, billing data, dashboard usage information, click and scan statistics, support communications and content that the business uploads or configures in OctoGate.
If a business uses reviews, digital card, forms, QR codes, translations or AI features, the data needed to provide those features may also be processed.
3. Purposes
The data is used to create and manage accounts, provide the service, display public pages, manage QR codes and digital cards, provide support, process payments, send necessary communications, maintain security, generate statistics and improve the user experience.
When AI features are used, the data will be processed to generate, translate, organise, improve or analyse the content requested by the business.
4. Legal basis
The legal basis may be the performance of a contractual or pre-contractual relationship, consent, compliance with legal obligations and the legitimate interest in maintaining security, improving the service and handling requests.

Payments may be managed through external payment providers. OctoGate does not need to store full bank card details when payment is managed through an external gateway.

OctoGate applies reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. Even so, no system connected to the Internet can guarantee absolute security.
11. Minors
OctoGate is aimed at businesses, professionals and users with sufficient capacity to contract or manage a business page. It is not intended for minors.
