1. Cancelling renewal
The user can cancel subscription renewal from the OctoGate dashboard. Once renewal is cancelled, no future automatic charges will be made unless the user reactivates or purchases a plan again.
2. Immediate automatic refund
OctoGate may offer an immediate automatic refund option for the last charge within the period shown in the account dashboard.
By default, this period is 3 days from the last charge, unless OctoGate indicates another applicable period in the dashboard or during the subscription process.
This option allows the subscription to be cancelled instantly, the latest payment to be refunded and the account to be returned to the Free plan where applicable.
3. Reasonable use of automatic refund
The immediate automatic refund is an additional facility offered by OctoGate to resolve occasional mistakes, confusion or changes of decision.
To prevent abusive or repetitive use that generates operating costs and payment fees for the platform, OctoGate may set a maximum limit of automatic refunds per account, business or customer.
4. Deactivation due to repetitive use
After reaching the limit shown in the dashboard or in this policy, OctoGate may permanently disable the automatic refund button for that account, business or customer.
The account will still be able to cancel renewal to avoid future charges and may contact support if it believes there is an incident or error.
5. Free periods or subscriptions pending first charge
If the subscription is in a free period, trial, promotion or pending first charge, it can be cancelled to avoid the future charge, but there will be no amount to refund if no charge has been made yet.
6. Refund processing
Refunds are processed through the corresponding payment provider. The time until the amount appears on the user’s payment method may depend on the bank, card issuer or payment provider.
7. Legal rights
